HR Business Partner Job Description

The HR Business Partner plays a vital role in supporting the business in human resources and employee relations activities for the business ensuring legislation is adhered to and that personnel are used in the most effective manner for both the company and the employee.

Duties include:

•Responsible for supporting and updating a business unit on all employee relations matters
•You'll contribute to a multitude of HR activities and drive business performance
•Head up the operational function within the HR team
•To provide HR advice and support to managers and staff on a wide range of strategic and operational human Resources issues
•To advise, managers and staff on issues of employment legislation
•Responsibility for dealing with any tribunal claims that arise
•Key part of the HR team and will work across the business disciplines to lead and influence change at a strategic level across the business

Requirements of the role

• Excellent experiential knowledge of TUPE and redundancy scenarios
•The ideal candidate will possess strong employee relations experience and a full understanding of current employment legislation
•CIPD qualified or working towards
•Excellent Record of Achievement resolving difficult casework problems
•You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
