A leading consumer events company are looking for an experience events marketing manager to work across a portfolio of very exiting lifestyle events. 

Key Responsibilities of Marketing Manager:
  • Ensure that each event has a robust marketing strategy
  • Ensure that each event has an actionable and measurable campaign plan
  • Work with the Event Directors to create marketing budgets
  • Responsible for creating and implementing wider marketing strategies that incorporate customer engagement platforms (e.g. websites, ticketing solutions), and marketing tools and technology that will help drive marketing performance
  • Oversee all marketing activities across the Lifestyle portfolio shows
  • Analyse previous campaigns and undertake research to understand the events and audiences fully
  • Provide strategic insight to support the development of the shows 
  • Produce sponsorship and exhibitor promotion material to support the sponsorship and sales teams and provide creative input into potential sponsorship agreements
  • Create engaging, creative and effective brand, campaign and customer messaging across all marketing platforms
  • Develop and agree briefs for external agencies and suppliers 
  • Appoint and manage agencies and suppliers, securing comparative, best- buy deals on an on-going basis
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of visitor databases
  • Produce post-show reports, analysing the effectiveness of the campaigns
  • Network within the industries to gain contacts and build industry knowledge
Essential Qualities of Marketing Manager:
  • Experience in innovating customer experience design in live events, subscriptions or ecommerce
  • A proven track record of successfully bringing new propositions to market
  • Strong understanding of data and insight with ability to analyse and deploy data led strategies, including knowledge of using customer segmentation as an effective tool
  • Operates at a high strategic level, including interaction at board level, as well as demonstrating operational excellence
  • Proven track record of leadership including nurturing talent and leading change
  • Strong understanding of digital and event technology, with ability to educate and upskill the organisation
  • Experience in email and automation software, web platforms and analytics, and social media scheduling and reporting.
  • Expert in creating compelling marketing messaging and highly targeted campaign plans
  • Creative thinker and passionate about consumer audiences and events.
